Description
Bromocriptine oral tablet is used to control Parkinson’s disease, prolactinoma, acromegaly, galactorrhea, and in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) with hyperprolactinemia.
Drugs Interact with Bromocriptine
Erythromycin with increases the Probability of bromocriptine toxicity by increasing the plasma concentration. Sympathetic drugs increase the side effects of bromocriptine. Due to the weakening of the immune system while taking this drug, vaccination of the patient or his family members with vaccines containing live viruses should be avoided.

- During the use of medicine, The patient should be evaluated for enlargement of the pituitary gland, especially during pregnancy.
- Since oral contraceptive pills may increase prolactin levels, non-hormonal contraceptive methods should be used while taking this drug.
